Vocational Rehabilitation Services Available
Anyone 16 years of age or over with a physical or emotional impairment which creates a substantial impediment to employment and will require multiple Vocational Rehabilitation services over an extended period of time is encouraged to contact Susan Faber, Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, serving Mason City High School. Phone 641-422-1551, ext. 44548 to schedule an appointment to learn more about these services. Examples of diagnoses are asthma, diabetes, cognitive impairments, learning disabilities, neurologic, hearing, speech, orthopaedic, psychiatric, and epilepsy. Examples of services are guidance and counseling, possible training assistance, possible tuition assistance in an approved rehabilitation training program, possible assistance with prosthetic devices, job placement assistance.
