The Mason City Community School District is busy finalizing classroom assignments at the elementary buildings and class schedules at the secondary buildings.  If you have not had the opportunity to complete the registration process, we request you do so as soon as possible to assist us in finalizing our plans so we can have everything in place to make your student's first day of school a great experience.  Please complete the items below for registration.  Clicking on each link will open up a new window.  When done return to this page to continue with the remaining steps.  If you complete all steps online you do NOT have to come in person to your student's building to register.  Online registration will close at the end of the day (4:00 p.m.) on Wednesday, August 23. 

For assistance accessing your Powerschool Parent Account -- contact your student's attendance/building, the office staff/secretary can assist you in resetting your Powerschool access. 

STUDENT SCHEDULES - High school student schedules will be available to view on Powerschool in early to mid August (middle school students will get a hard copy the first day of school).  Look for a link on Powerschool beginning that day that will be labeled "Student Schedule".  Schedules will also be able to be viewed on the mobile app beginning that day.  NO hard copies of schedules will be mailed out.

PAYMENT - Payment for textbook fees and other items such as transportation, meal deposits, year books, memory books, etc. is most easily done through our web store - Touchbase.  With Touchbase you can make credit or debit card payments securely.
**Applying for free/reduced meals?  If so do NOT make payment at this time for text book fees or transportation.
**If you are NOT applying for free/reduced meals please make payment at this time using Touchbase OR mail or drop off payment to one of your student's building office.  If check or cash please drop off payment at student's building office OR the District Administrative Center.

ALL K-12 parents must update your student's information in Powerschool.

Transportation Application

 

 K-12  OPTIONAL  Fill out this online form if one or more of your students needs to sign up for busing.
Pay Fees Online with Touchbase  K-12  RECOMMENDED

 

Use debit or credit card to pay for fees online.  There will be no convenience fee charged for using inTouch Receipting for the registration process.
**Textbook fees for your student(s) are/is already set up in TouchBase.  Simply place items in your "cart", choose any other items (lunch deposit, transportation, year book, etc.) to place in cart, click Check Out when ready!

Boundary Exception

 

 K-4  OPTIONAL

 
Fill out only if you would like your K-4 student to attend a school that is not his/her neighborhood school.  Applications must go through the approval process, not all applications may be approved.

 7-8  OPTIONAL  Fill out this online form if your middle school student will be participating in a FALL sport at the beginning of this school year.

 7-12  Required for all 7-12 students who plan on taking part in athletics  Fill out this form for students in grades 7-12 who plan on taking part in athletics.
