TouchBase is a secure site that allows parents/guardians to deposit lunch money, pay for fees, or purchase other items available in the web store using credit or debit cards.  You can also view and print reports showing payment history.

You will need a PowerSchool Parent Portal account to access TouchBase. If you don’t have a PowerSchool Parent Portal account, please call your school office or Julie Bigler at the administration center (641-450-5002) to get an account set up.

TouchBase can only be accessed using an internet browser such as Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari, Android browser, etc. (computer, tablet, smartphone) and CANNOT be accessed using the Powerschool Mobile App.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q – How is this site different than my PowerSchool Parent Portal?
A – The Parent Portal connects you to student records related to grades, food service balances, class schedules, etc. We do not track student fines/fees, or sell items through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Q – How can I purchase items which are available to my students?
A - Click the "Your Students" button. Select a student from your list. On the right of the page, select "Products available to Your Student" from the list of links. This will take you to a page displaying only products available to the selected student. 

Q – How do I pay open fines/fees for my child?
A - Click the "Your Students" button. Select a student from your list. On the right of the page, select "View Open Fines" from the list of links. Click the checkboxes of the fines you’d like to pay, and click the "Pay Selected Fines" button. The fines you have chosen will be added to your shopping cart.

Q – I tried to log on with no success.
A -

* If you are a district employee, you will not be able to access TouchBase under your Parent Portal account information. If you have a spouse, you can use his/her log on to make online payments on your student account.

TouchBase offers you the convenience of paying student fees and fines online with a major credit card or debit card. You can also add funds to your student’s lunch money account.

What is TouchBase?
TouchBase is an online fee payment system that offers a convenient way for parents to view student fees and fines online 24/7 and be able to pay a number of fees online using a major credit card or debit card.

What fees will be available to pay online?
Parents can pay all basic student fees and fines through TouchBase at all grade levels. For high school students you can also pay the yearbook fee, parking pass, athletic pass, driver's education fee, and others. We hope to make additional options available in the future.

How do I access TouchBase?
You will need a PowerSchool Parent Portal account to access TouchBase. If you don’t have a Powerschool Parent Portal account, please call your school office or the Julie Bigler at the administration center (641-450-5002) to get an account set up.

What else does a PowerSchool Parent Portal Account offer me?
The PowerSchool Parent Portal offers information (students in grades 5-12) that can help you stay involved in your child’s educational success. You can also verify your child’s attendance, check the school calendar, view school notices and contact your child’s teacher directly. Parents of intermediate, middle school, and high school students can also check on pending assignments (including due dates), verify that key assignments are being turned in, check grades on key assignments /tests, and view standardized test scores.

Why do have to go to my child’s school to open a parent portal account?
We are bound by student privacy laws and must ensure that the person holding a Parent Portal access is the student’s parent and/or legal guardian.

What methods of payment are accepted through TouchBase?
Online payments can be made with VISA, Mastercard or Discover or by using a debit card.

Payments at the school office can be made by cash, check, major credit card or debit card.

Is there a convenience fee when I pay online??
NO extra fees are charged at any time when using TouchBase for online payments.

How can I check the balance in my student’s lunch account?
Log into PowerSchool, click the 'Sign Into TouchBase' link, click on a student, and the student/family lunch balance will be present.

What if I forget to add money to my child’s lunch account and/or send money with him for lunch? What can I do?
Before 8:45am, log into PowerSchool, click the 'Sign Into TouchBase' link and add funds to the lunch account. You won’t be able to see the new balance until the next business day. However funds deposited prior to 8:45 a.m. will show up in the cafeteria’s computer system in plenty of time for your student to have lunch that same day.

If you need to set up a PowerSchool Parent Portal account, contact the administration center (641-450-5002).

If you have questions regarding fees for transactions, questions on balances/payments, or other accounting questions, please call 641-450-5013 and ask for the Accounting Department regarding TouchBase.
